I am fascinated by the colors and layers that tell their own story in my work. I love creating abstract figurative art that reflects light and shadow. Oil paints are still a new medium for me – their suppleness, powerful luminosity and shine inspire me. I have developed techniques, particularly with paint rollers and painting knives, which are repeated and further developed in my paintings.

When I paint, I immerse myself in the moment: focused, present, free of time and space. I love this feeling of complete surrender. My art aims to convey positivity, clarity and strength – and to pass this energy on to the viewer.
